   The TESS (tiny emergency survival shelter) Bicycle Trailer is the ultimate freedom machine. Tow it behind your bike and go mobile, your home is where you drop your kickstand. 

    Around 900 BC, a woman of Israel provided a little chamber for the Prophet Elisha, in it she put a bed, a table a stool and a candlestick; 2 Kings 4:8. Besides food and water, what more do we need?

   In 1971 Pete Townsend of the "Who" sang about the benefits and joys of Going Mobile.  While life on the road can be hard, having a safe dry place to sleep ; secure your stuff and be protected from the weather can make a big difference. A place to sit, a place to sleep, a table to use and a light to see.

   All the TESS bike Campers are prototypes. We are continuing to refine these and trying to make them more efficiently and more affordable. We are currently offering a steel base frame with 10"x4" wheels and QR bike hitch starting at $300. Specifications: A315 steel square tube frame; 32"-W, 7'-L bed, 16" trailer tongue, bed/seat height 15", weight ~20 lbs. Options are available to make these as a push/pull cart. 

   Customers can then build their shells or tents for their trailers. We recommend 1/4" plywood be screwed and glued to the base. From there a shell can be fabricated from Coroplast sheet, foam board, plywood, fiberglass or a simple tarp tent can be erected. There are plenty of examples of mobile bike shelters and .tiny homes out there.  Build your own, have fun, be challenged and greatly blessed through the labor of your own hands.

A worn chain can cause shifting issues and affect your bike's performance. Our team will carefully replace your chain and ensure it is properly lubricated. Bicycles are precision machines that need to be maintained : properly adjusted to the rider and tuned up, they are a joy to ride. Poorly adjusted and out of tune they are a pain in the ass.
